In 1999 The Warren Alpert Foundation agreed to make a major charitable gift of $15,000,000 to Mount Sinai Hospital. In recognition of the gift, Mount Sinai established the warren Alpert Pavilion. The eight-story building is located on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and is home to the Mount Sinai, Kravis Children’s Center.
