2024 – South County Health Foundation

Support will assist in the development of a 2-year program to build a recruitment and retention strategy that will ensure that there is staff necessary to care for the communities that they serve. The program will providing housing stipends to offset the increased costs of living in Washington County, enhance its preceptor program by offering a stipend to experienced nurses to work the night shift to train new graduate RN’s, develop innovative team building activities that will promote a sense of community and belonging, and build a comprehensive clinical skills lab for nursing education.
