The New York Genome Center

The New York Genome Center (NYGC) goal is to advance its efforts to build a platform that optimizes mental healthcare quality while improving equity and outcomes for individuals with serious mental illness. The GeMMA Data Commons will serve as a unique platform to implement clinical prediction algorithms, therapeutic discovery efforts, and data-driven clinical trial enrollment. It will be built as an interactive, cloud-based storage platform that enables integrative analysis of clinical and genetic data. To enhance opportunities for data sharing, we will implement state-of-the-art data privacy approaches to safeguard the privacy of participants while preserving the full utility of the data.  The long-term goals of this project are to build the database infrastructure, develop privacy-preservation approaches to protect the data, and evaluate the performance and security of the Commons using real-world data.
