Respecting Mr. Alpert’s desire to find cures or treatments of major disease, particularly Alzheimer’s, the foundation has provided a $1.6 million in funding for a multi-year research grant to RPI entitled “Structure-Based Drug Discovery Targeting Substrate of y-secretase in Alzheimer’s disease.”
